Making Porridge

Today the children made porridge just like the bears did in our story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. THe children learned about how oats are grown and harvested. We also talking about where we get milk from and what toppings we like to put on our porridge. Honey was a very popular choice! We had a look at how bees make honey and learned that bees live in a hive. We added honey to our porridge and most of the children thought this was a great improvement.
