Autumn 1 The Four Nations

This half term we boarded a flying bus to learn about the Four Nations that make up the United Kingdom.

Each week we boarded the bus to a different part of the United Kingdom, travelling from England, to Scotland, then to Northern Ireland and finally Wales. We have now become United Kingdom experts!

We even had a visit from Billy's dad who was born in Northern Ireland. He answered lots of our questions about famous landmarks, stories and differences between Northern Ireland and England.

For our Brain Builder homework, the children produced a range of fantastic work. Some made 3D landmarks such as Big Ben, Brighten Pier and Tower Bridge. Others made their own information books or quizes. The teachers were amazed with the children's efforts. Have a look at our work in the gallery below.
